Pine-Sol - It’s That Kind of Clean
Every Saturday growing up, my mom would make us CLEAN the house. I’m talking C-L-E-A-N. One time, when I was cleaning the baseboards INSIDE my closet, I asked, “Why does the INSIDE of my closet have to be this clean, it’s not like the pope is coming over to look?” She put her hand on her hip, shot me a look and said, “Well, he might.”
That’s what cleaning with Pine-Sol is all about. Because you never know who might stop by, the pope, Oprah, or even Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker. OMG!
Yeah, it’s that kind of clean.
Made with my PIC: Jonathan Keating
FUN FACT: Someone had to be on Nipple Watch during the shoot to make sure Boris’ goods didn’t make it on network TV. Not a bad gig if you can find it.
And then COVID hit
You know the story. We launched the campaign in March and then suddenly, no one was just randomly showing up at anyones’s home. No one was going anywhere.
They pulled the campaign. I was devastated. But instead of crying over spilled Pine-Sol, we took all the footage we had from the shoot and re-engineered the story, saving the campaign, and the clients a ton of money. Winner winner, wash your hands before dinner.
LET’S GET DIGITAL, DIGITAL.
I WANNA GET DIGITAL, DIGITAL.
People who use Pine-Sol, LOVE Pine-Sol. So we helped them celebrate that love with the Pine-Store, an online shop featuring gifts and gear with the kind of attitude and swagger that our target has come to know and love from the brand.
We teased the launch on TikTok, and even collaborated with fashion icon Vashtie to make exclusive Pine-Soles, the official Inside The House Shoe of the brand.
Check it out at Pine-Store.com. All proceeds support Black Women Entrepreneurs.
